My neighborhood is mostly white but does have racial diversity. It is gay friendly. We have 5 lesbian households on our block. I think the elementary educational facility principal is super but the school is rated a 2 on a scale of one to Approximately 50% of the children attending the educational facility actually live within the neighborhood boundaries. 85% of the children attending the school qualify for free lunch. Most of the children are English language learners. Since our avenue is almost child free I am thinking the kids come from the apartments that have been built along the outskirts of the neighborhood and are apparently from families struggling financially.
