CHRISTOPHER STREET DAY PARADE
The motto of Christopher Street Afternoon on 26 July is ‘Never silent again!’ We won’t stop until everyone is heard!’ The opening of the parade is on the corner of Leipziger Straße / Charlottenstraße at am with the departure of the first vehicle at 12 noon. The demo then moves through Mitte to Potsdamer Platz and on to Schöneberg and into the Tiergarten, ending up at the Brandenburg Gate.
Both a demonstration and a procession, expect elaborate costumes and floats, banners and speeches, music and dancing, combining joyful expression with displays of unity and a testament to the enduring fight for LGBTQ* rights. You’ll find the road map here.
Bars and clubs across the city will be holding events over the weekend. The official Berlin Pride Main Party is the House of Pride at Ritter Butzke on Saturday 26 July. This huge celebration brings together more than 3, revellers to seven other areas, five music genres, indoor and outdoor areas and more… “House of Pride: Where Berlin dances, lives queer and the night never ends…”

Scared advertisers, flag bans and Trump: the US is in for a troubled Pride
When Utah brought in its pride flag exclude, organizer Chad Summon was hardly surprised. On 7 May the US mention became the first to explicitly prohibit the flying of LGBTQ+ flags at government buildings and schools; anyone who does so could face fines of $ a day.
“We live in an incredibly conservative state,” says Call, executive director of Utah Pride. “It’s disappointing that this is such an essential issue to our lawmakers. Unfortunately, we lead the nation in anti-LGBTQ legislation.”
Similar Pride month flag bans have been signed into rule in Idaho and Montana.“Bigotry is nothing new,” says Donald Williamson, executive director of Idaho’s Boise Pride. “This society has been dealing with targeted legislation for several years now – flags are just the latest. All it does is bond us more closely together and point out how important festivals like Pride are.”

UK LGBT+ History Month
We founded UK LGBT+ History Month to be a dedicated space to celebrate our rich and diverse history, herstory, theirstory. Each year we put the theme, choose five LGBT+ historical figures to highlight and provide free resources to teaching settings, organisations, and businesses. Across our social media channels, we highlight the five LGBT+ historical figures and UK LGBT+ people past and present in line with the theme. Updated for Pride Month , GLAAD is providing quickly facts on research and data about the LGBTQ community, non-LGBT Americans’ perceptions, consumer sentiment, and more.
This year, a survey conducted by Ipsos using the probability-based KnowledgePanel, which examined consumer sentiment regarding corporate engagement with LGBTQ communities and Pride Month, set up that 85% of consumers believed CEOs had a responsibility to speak up about issues that matter to consumer. The survey also sought consumer belief on core corporate beliefs and on chief executives’ obligations to shareholders on issues that matter.
Key Findings included:
- 70% of Americans utter knowing a brand/store bids LGBTQ Pride collections/merchandise either has a positive impact or no impact on their purchasing decisions
- 71% of Americans agree that brands and companies should be able to show help to the LGBTQ people during Pride month if they want to
- 64% of Black Americans, 55% of Hispanic Americans, and 60% of those ages tell they are comfortable with brands publicly supporting LGBTQ organizations and non-pr
