Thor bisexual
My excitement for Thor: Ragnarok grew about tenfold when reports that one of its central characters would be bisexual person began making the rounds (admittedly, I already had a soft spot for the muscle-bound Norse god). But that excitement was short-lived as I create myself disappointed and annoyed to come across that the one scene confirming the character Valkyrie’s orientation had been left on the cutting room floor.
Valkyrie actress Tessa Thompson, who offers one of the film’s breakout performances, took it upon herself to pitch the traits as bisexual, which the producers agreed to. But despite some public hype, her “coming out” scene didn’t form the cut. Admittedly, descriptions of the scene in scrutinize (a woman disappearing Valkyrie’s bedroom) hardly confirm anything. Regardless, what we’re left with is subtext and the assurance that Thompson acted the part with Valkyrie’s bisexuality in mind.
There are many complex issues to consider here, not least of which is the invisibility of sexual orientation. In reality, we should never presume anyo

Is Thor bisexual? Marvel fans are living for the Thor and Peter Quill scene in novel Love and Thunder teaser trailer.
At long last, the trailer for Thor: Romance and Thunder has officially arrived and fans are already losing it over a couple of lgbtq+ moments that have just been teased.
The trailer for the fourth Thor clip sees Chris Hemsworth's Thor on a journey of self-discovery in his post-Endgame era. Joined by the Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor: Love and Thunder is set to also see King Valkyrie of New Asgard, Jane Foster as Mighty Thor and quite a lot of romance, as director Taiki Waititi has revealed.
It was already previously confirmed by Tessa Thompson that Valkyrie's canon bisexuality would finally be shown in Love and Thunder, with the superhero "finding her queen". (Scenes confirming Valkyrie's sexuality ended up entity cut out ofThor: Ragnarok.)
Now, it l
Taika Waititi Cut a ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Scene That Made Valkyrie’s Bisexuality Explicit
While the Marvel Studios films have certainly been fun and well reviewed, there are still a few areas in which they’re lacking. Ant-Man and the Wasp—the studio’s 20th film—will be its first with a female co-lead, and Black Panther—the studio’s 18th film—will be its first with a person of paint in the lead role. But with Captain Marvel on the way and Black Panther looking to be decidedly badass, it looks like Marvel is attempting to make up for missing time a bit. And with Thor: Ragnarok, it turns out the studio almost introduced its first LGBTQ character in a big way.
Tessa Thompson (Creed) fills the role of Valkyrie in the sequel, which already is a race-swapped bit of casting. In the comics, Valkyrie is as WASP-y as can be, but Ragnarok director Taika Waititi and Marvel wanted to shake things up while giving an incredibly talented actress a chance to shine. Thompson recently took to Twitter to confirm that fond in the recent comics, her version of Valkyrie is double attraction.
Taika Waititi Cut a ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Moment Alluding to Valkyrie’s Bisexuality
Tessa Thompson mutual major news last week when she revealed her Thor: Raganrok character Valkyrie is bisexual, making her the MCUs first openly LGBTQ superhero. But as it exciting as the reveal was, its a disappointing story weve heard before: a nature is queer in the press, but far from it onscreen.
When you see Thor: Ragnarok this weekend (read our review here), dont expect any mention of Valkyries bisexuality. The production doesnt directly allude to it, which, granted, Thompson clarified over Twitter, but (minor spoiler alert) her warrior instead shares some flirtatious moments with Chris Hemsworths God of Thunder. However that total lack of acknowledgement wasnt always the plan, and a cut moment from the Taika Waititi movie initially winked at Valkyries relationship with a woman.
In a new profile by Rolling Stone, Thompson reveals that she was the one who originally pitched the idea to
