Cute gay romance books

The world of queer romance novels is, if not quite as vast as the world of m/f romance, still quite expansive. Are you looking for a royal-commoner romance? A fake marriage? Something dark and gritty, or something that&#;s the literary equivalent of a basket of puppies? Whatever it is that floats your romance boat, I guarantee there&#;s an m/m romance out there that will satisfy. In making this list, I&#;ve highlighted as many #ownvoices authors as possible. There&#;s a misconception that the only people who write m/m passion are straight women, and while it&#;s true that some of the biggest names in same-sex attracted romance are linear women, there are also dozens of queer men writing fantastic gay relationship. But because of the biases and shortcomings of publishing (and a slew of other complicated factors), it&#;s vertical women who often get the most recognition in the genre. This is not to utter that straight women can&#;t, or shouldn&#;t, write gay relationship novels. You&#;ll discover several (including some of my absolute favorites!) on this list. You&#;ll also find many delightful books by homosexual men

I didn&#;t realize until the film came out just how many queer women in my social circle and workplace had study and adored Red, Light and Royal Blue. But perhaps I shouldn&#;t have been so surprised, considering women have historically been the primary readers of M/M romantic fiction, even if the general assumption around that fact is that it&#;s straight women. But I suspect I&#;m not the only lesbian out there who enjoys a light, unchallenging little romp into gay romance. Whether you&#;re looking for sizzling sex scenes, tender coming-of-age tales, historical romance or kitchen-centric love, we&#;ve got you covered. Share your favorites in the comments!

Many links are Amazon or Bookshop affiliate. A small percentage of each purchased using this link earns money for the site, so please operate these if you&#;re so inclined!

Please note that as is common with Passion, many of these books are in a series with recurring characters. All should be readable as standalones, however, unless noted otherwise.

Additionally, please be advised that this is more of a database than a rec list; I have not read most of these titles, and strongly advocate reading reviews for potential triggers etc.
