Inova Pride Clinic offers behavioral health services to patients both within the Pride Clinic and not established within the Pride Clinic. Therapy can help individuals who have been diagnosed with a mental health disorder as skillfully as people who are functional through a life event or situation. Therapy Structure
Therapy within the Inova Pride Clinic is time limited although length of treatment may vary according to individual needs. Sessions are between minutes. The first appointment is the initial evaluation where it will be determined with clinician and patient best treatment options. Subsequent appointments include treatment planning and process. Practice modalities may include but are not limited to: cognitive behavioral therapy; dialectical behavioral therapy; motivational interviewing; narrative therapy; and solutions-focused therapy.
We currently offer individual and family therapy, with an option in the future for group therapy.
