Koh Phangan Gay Guide
Koh Phangan is a beautiful island located in the southeastern part of Thailand. It is particularly popular for its Full Moon Parties that take place every month at the Haad Rin Beach attracting among others many gay travellers from all over the world.
During the time of the Occupied Moon Parties the gay scene gets busier as the Bansabai district, which is a 3km long area packed with clubs and pubs, provides the leading entertainment when it comes to ladyboys. Beyond the largest beach party event, Koh Phangan does not have a big and organised scene like Koh Samui.
There are only 2 exclusively lgbtq+ venues on the island, the L'Alcove winery and the 4You bar. The L'Alcove is celebrated for organising live music events and having the best wine, while 4You bar is established for being the only male lover cocktail bar in the area.
