What does "jock" in a profile mean?
The good folks over at Gay Pop Buzz asked different guys to define what “jock” means to them. Let’s take a look at some of their responses…
Mike, 30, defines a jock the most literally:
I operate out a lot at the gym and like to meet guys who do the same. So when I put that in my description [gay jock] it’s my way of letting people understand my body type and what I’m looking for.
Bruce, 36, has a similar but slightly different interpretation:
When I was in lofty school and college, I used to play unlike sports. I’m still active at the gym five days a week and play volleyball. So yeah, to my mind, I feel OK with calling myself that.
Then there’s Dan, 27, who says “jock” is less of a physical trait and more of a behavioral one:
It’s simple. When I employ the term [gay jock] it means that I am a masculine guy and that I select to hook up with guys who are the same. It means you act like a man.
Steven, 38, says it’s a term used to detail one’s member:
It should be obvious. A jock is a masculine top that has a nice size d***! If you watch
Theater Jocks happen to be exceptional people. They are a bit vexatious especially due to the reality that a common attribute that they share is breaking into song or ripping off lines from movies, usually not the good ones. Theater Jocks claim they are innovative, however, three facts that invalidate this allegation are as follows
#1. They fabricated the term "theater jock" from the adjective/noun "Technology Jock" which so happens to have been published approximately a week prior to that on "Theater Jock"
#2. The only type of theater that actually uses creativity is improv. which isn't as liked (for some reason) by many.
# theater is based on a story that was previously created, which to be honest isn't creativity, the only imaginative person is the writer.
The statement "everyone want to be them" is mendacious, We for one don't want to a Theater Jock.
This in not a "Hater's Definition" It's the tru

Gay tribes are conventionally defined as social groupings of gay men based purely on their physical characteristics. Tribes as a concept were popularized by Grindr, the number one matchmaking app app for gay men. Specifically, Grindr is a section that allows users to pick which Tribe they belong to and show which group or Tribe they are interested in…
Although the framework of gay tribes has sometimes been criticized as unnecessarily labeling men in the gay people and trying to put them into boxes they may not fit into, the concept of gay men dividing themselves into groups under specific names is much older than dating apps. For example, the bear category, which today is accepted as one of the gay tribes, dates back to the tardy s and early s, when closeted gay men gave themselves such identifiers and met at parties and over the newly emerging Internet.
